FR Dans 𝗧𝗼𝗶, 𝗺𝗼𝗶, 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗮… Munyaneza s’inspire du discours autour du personnage Tituba du roman éponyme de Maryse Condé. En tant que femme noire et « sorcière », Tituba donne une voix à ceux à qui a été imposé le silence, qui ont été effacés par l’histoire. Inspirée par ce récit, Munyaneza tente d’employer son propre corps comme des archives de la danse.
EN For 𝗧𝗼𝗶, 𝗺𝗼𝗶, 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗮… Munyaneza was inspired by the discourse around the character of Tituba from the novel by Maryse Condé. As a black woman and so-called witch, Tituba gives a voice to those who are silenced by force. Those erased from history. Inspired by this story, Munyaneza tries to use her own body as a danced archive.
